How long have you been in business?
Since 1994. We started out as a small job shop in Lansdale, PA. We moved to the Gilbertsville area in May of 2000.
What is your primary product or service?
We make the sturdiest door hinges in the market place. Our hinges are used at the Yuma Arizona Proving Grounds on explosion proof bunkers, levees in the Gulf States, and Bank Safes all over and at least 30 other applications. How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
I have been doing machine work since 1972 after I got out of the Navy (where I was a Machinist's Mate). I continued as a Maintenance man for Middleton Tobacco in King of Prussia. I have always loved my work. I learned toolmaking from a shop in Bucks County. And Upper Bucks Vo-Tech.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
We concentrate on our product line of hinges to make them the best that we or anyone else can offer for the price. We also customize our hinges.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
One location. Any expansion happens right here. Next we want to expand upward, into a second floor over our shop and office areas on the first floor.
Provide detailed directions to your location
We are exactly 9/10's of a mile north on PA RT.663 from the intersection of Rts. 663 and 73 near Gilbertsville PA. We are about 4 miles from Zern's Farmer's Market.
What type of payments do you accept?
Checks, Visa, Mastercard.
Which areas do you service?
We will mount our hinges anywhere for you.
Who owns your company or runs daily operations?
Lawrence Waite and Joe Kelly.

7:30AM to 6PM M-F.
